Adult Basic Education Level I
Students can get the help they need to enter Level II Adult Basic Education or to improve their basic literacy
skills.
Employability Skills Program
This is a 12-week program that provides the tools to help participants develop the
personal management, communications, academic, and job search skills identified by Canadian
employers as necessary in today's workforce. This program is offered each January, April, and
September with classes daily from 9am to 3pm.
Employment Assistance Services Measures
To assist unemployed individuals prepare for, obtain and maintain employment by providing them with
services such as employment counselling, job search techniques, job placement and labour market
information.
Linkages
This is a 26-week youth employment initiative, offered in partnership with Human Resources,
Labour and Employment (subject to funding approval).
